Parenting Resources

Supporting you so you can support your child

Southwest Human Development is dedicated to building bright, positive futures for the children in our community – and helping parents is a critical part of reaching that goal.

Whether you need support for a child with complex developmental issues or are simply struggling with the day-to-day stresses of raising kids, we can help you find programs, answer questions and put you on the path to parenting success.

Our resources for parents include:

    • Birth to Five Helpline
Call 877-705-KIDS for free help and expert answers. We’re available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., or submit your question anytime with our online form and we’ll call you back.

    • Fussy Baby Program
One in five babies is fussy, crying excessively, having trouble sleeping or feeding, or is difficult to comfort. Part of our Birth to Five Helpline, the Fussy Baby Program can help you find ways to soothe your infant while reducing your own stress.
