Winter Reading Competition

Read books to benefit Southwest Human Development early literacy programs!

January 1 – March 31, 2019  |  $35 Registration Fee  

 

Grab your reading glasses and snuggle up by the fire with your favorite book for a good cause!

 

Join us for a Winter Reading Competition to benefit early literacy programs. Participants will compete to read the most books from 30 pre-chosen categories such as a book of poetry, murder mystery, history and others. (Check out the full list of categories below!)

 

Registration fee includes a $10 certificate to Changing Hands Bookstore and a complimentary appetizer from Southern Rail.

 

GRAND PRIZE

Elite Restaurants Membership ($100 value), $100 Southern Rail certificate, $150 Changing Hands Bookstore certificate, signed copy of “Up Up Up” by Phoebe Fox

 

2ND PLACE

Official Rules

Winners will be determined based on who reads books in the most categories. Ties will be broken by the total number of pages read. This competition is based on the honor system.
