Thank you so much to everyone who took time to support us on Arizona Gives Day!

With your help, $10,302 was raised for children and families! In just 24 hours, you made it possible for Southwest Human Development to

• Craft 35 “Happy Chairs” at the ADAPT Shop for children with physical disabilities.
• Hold two Raising A Reader sessions in low-income communities.
• Provide one-on-one counseling to 20 children at the Good Fit Center.
• Get over 5,000 books in the hands of children!

Thank you for coming together to make such a difference. You not only doubled our goal of $5,000, you helped to change the lives families across Arizona.

What is Arizona Gives Day?
Arizona Gives Day is a statewide day of giving that has raised $4.5 million for Arizona nonprofits since 2013. In 2015, 17,620 people donated on Arizona Gives Day.

The next Arizona Gives Day will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

When you donate to Southwest Human Development, you make an impact on lives of more than 135,000 children in our community. We know a child’s earliest years have the biggest impact on their development and future success in life. You can make a difference and help Arizona’s children and families who are facing the greatest risks.

Where Does Your Donation Go?
All donations generated on Arizona Gives Day for Southwest Human Development will be allocated to an area of greatest need for the Arizona children and families we serve in our programs.

Southwest Human Development provides more than 40 programs and services – with a special focus on young children ages birth to 5 – in the areas of child development and mental health, Easter Seals disabilities services, early literacy and Head Start, child welfare, and professional development and training.
