Eleanor’s Book Drive

Hi, I’m Eleanor and I’m a 7th grader at Cocopah Middle School in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I am about to turn 13 years old and will celebrate my Bat Mitzvah. As part of this exciting process, I have decided to host a book drive in partnership with Southwest Human Development to make sure other kids get the opportunity to read and learn and love books as much as I do. My favorite books right now are a picture book called The Quiltmaker’s Gift, the Unwanteds series, the Front Desk series, the Land of Stories series, the classic Little Women, and of course, the City Spies series. In addition to reading, I also enjoy playing the piano, the oboe, tennis and playing Mario Kart with my brother.

Thank you so much for your support. Learning to read and love books can truly change a child’s life!
