Our Giving Society

The Southwest Human Development Giving Society is the premier philanthropic membership program of the agency, recognizing and celebrating the generosity of our contributors. Our membership includes individuals who provide annual gifts to the agency in support of Southwest Human Development’s critical programs and services. Their ongoing generosity allows us to serve more than 135,000 children and families in Arizona each year.

The contributions made by our Giving Society members ensure that Southwest Human Development can continue its mission to give all children the healthy foundation they need for an optimal start in life. Giving Society members provide annual support for Southwest Human Development’s programs in child health and development, Easter Seals disabilities services, Head Start, early literacy and training for childhood professionals.

Membership Levels

Lifetime Member  |  $50,000 and up

• Individuals who reach a cumulative lifetime total of giving $50,000 or more will automatically become Lifetime Giving Society Members with all privileges at the Distinction Level, as well as lifetime recognition in our publications, website and other appropriate materials.

Distinction Level  |  $25,000 and up

• Ten tickets to Portraits of Opportunity
• Recognition on the agency website, appropriate publications and event materials for one year
• Invitation to annual donor recognition event
• Opportunity for private tour/experience with one of the following Southwest Human Development programs: Raising A Reader, Head Start, ADAPT Shop, Good Fit Counseling Center, Children’s Developmental Center or Educare Arizona
• Private lunch or dinner with Southwest Human Development CEO Ginger Ward and/or Dr. Daniel Kessler, Medical Director

Confidence Level  |  $10,000 to $24,999

• Eight tickets to Portraits of Opportunity
• Recognition on the agency website, appropriate publications and event materials for one year
• Invitation to annual donor recognition event
• Opportunity for private tour/experience with one of the following Southwest Human Development programs: Raising A Reader, Head Start, ADAPT Shop, Good Fit Counseling Center, Children’s Developmental Center or Educare Arizona

Opportunity Level  |  $5,000 to $9,999

• Six tickets to Portraits of Opportunity
• Recognition on the agency website, appropriate publications and event materials for one year
• Invitation to annual donor recognition event
• Opportunity for “hands-on” experience with our Raising A Reader program

Imagination Level  |  $2,500 to $4,999

• Four tickets to Portraits of Opportunity
• Recognition on the agency website, appropriate publications and event materials for one year
• Invitation to annual donor recognition event

Creativity Level  |  $1,000 to $2,499

• Two tickets to Portraits of Opportunity
• Recognition on the agency website, appropriate publications and event materials for one year
• Invitation to annual donor recognition event
