Our Reach Out and Read program seeks volunteers to read to young children in well-child pediatric clinics. Volunteers are needed Valleywide, Monday - Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm. Volunteers must meet clinic requirements such as proof of immunizations, fingerprint clearance and a current TB test. English Language Learners and bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to sign-up. Volunteer training is provided.

Walk With Me

The Phoenix inaugural Walk With Me event to benefit Easter Seals Southwest Human Development's programs for individuals with disabilities was a resounding success. Plans for the next Walk are already underway.

Volunteers will be needed for the second Walk scheduled for May 1, 2010. Duties include registration, greeting, route supervision and more. An elegant evening showcasing agency programs and families

through professional photography

This unique event will be the evening of October 15th at Memorial Hall in Steele Indian School Park. All proceeds will support agency programs for young children.
