Donate books to our early literacy programs like Reach Out and Read and Raising A Reader, or sponsor a book drive at your workplace, church or child’s school.
In keeping with our philosophy that every child deserves high-quality books, use these guidelines to assist you with your donation.
We Accept:
- Gently worn used books with covers and pages intact, clean and readable.
- Books suited for children between the ages of birth to five years. (We do accept some books for older children.)
- New books. See our list of recommended titles.
We Don’t Accept:
- Tattered books with dirty, ripped or missing covers and pages.
- Books with religious content.
- Books about sensitive issues like divorce, abuse or death.
- Books for teens.
