Building a Foundation for Children’s Success

Southwest Head Start is a free, comprehensive child development program serving low-income children, ages birth through four, their families and expectant mothers. High-quality education and a wide array of services combine to help prepare children for success in school and life.

Preschool Head Start provides low-income children with a high-quality preschool education. Health screenings, social services, and parent training are other important components.

Infant/Toddler Head Start helps parents with child development, parenting and life skills during pregnancy and the years before their baby is eligible for the preschool program.
